Governors worried by healthcare bill costs
Over the weekend, the nation's governors had the opportunity to discuss
among themselves the Obama administration's health care bill winding
it's way through congress. And the consensus seems to be that the
bipartisan reality is that the states cannot afford or absorb the
unfunded mandates that this bill is pushing toward them and the people.
If these governors succeed in reaching their senators and voting this
bill down, we will have dodges a bullet. If they fail? the best that
will be accomplished will be that the senate and congress will rework
the bill with promises of more subsidies and trillions more in unfunded
and borrowed deficit spending.
Socialized medicine is something that America cannot afford and if allowed to become law, we will all suffer the consequences.
