For those unfamiliar, the prime minister of the UK has been floundering
and going down by the bow faster than the Titanic, ever since is
predecessor Tony Blair waltzed away from 10 Downing street, leaving the
country awash in strangling debt and the Labour party struggling to
keep it's hold on the UK parliament and leadership offices.
Every poll that has come out since Blair left office and including the
most recent MEP elections to the European parliament have shown, that
the people of Britain are tired of Labour and all of the ills that it
has wrought upon their country since Blair and Labour made their
promises over ten years ago concerning the socialist egalitarian dream.
The British have had about enough of Labour's multiculturalist
propaganda and nation wrecking.
And now, Gordon Brown (seeing the writing on the wall) has decided to
cast his lot with the environmentalist wing of extremist left in the
UK, in a last ditch effort to attempt to save himself and the party
from utter destruction.
In American football parlance? This would be considered a "Hail Mary
pass" if there ever was one. But in this instance, the hail Mary is
coming not in the waning seconds of a hopeless cause, but it is in fact
coming after the contest has already ended. Labour has lost and no one
has bothered to tell the bloody idiots that it is time to go home.
The French have seen the light and so have the Germans and before long
the Italians and the Spaniards will also join in and throw off the
strangling coils of socialism that have all but engulfed Europe since
the end of WWII. But none the less, Gordon Brown remains at the helm of
his foundering officer with the equally foundering vessel of Labour
struggling along after him. And he is attempting any and all manner and
means of saving the dying beast that has served to cripple and make
lame one of the once great nations of the world.
Gordy says there are less than fifty days for the world to come to its
senses and see things as he does and ratify and outlandish treaty. But
something tells me, that many of those Kool Aid drinking rose colored
glasses wearing socialist of old, will abandon Gordon in his hour of
need in Copenhagen in December. And as things would work out in this
instance? At the precise time when America should be leaving ten foot
pole marks all over the proposed "Copenhagen Global Warming Carbon
Emissions Treaty?" Our president will be embracing it and selling us up
crap creek permanently by signing onto it and further obligating the US
to billions of dollars that we don't have.
