Seeing as WGKA radio has ceased to pick up and publish the Townhall blogs of local Georgia residents, it seems fairly pointless to continue posting blogs to this Townhall site. I have sent an email to WGKA inquiring as to why they have chosen to drop the Townhall blogs by individuals like myself, but pending some revelation that I am unaware of, I will be moving my thoughts exclusively to my blogspot blog located here at The Borg Conspiracy.

Justice is finally done

Defiant DC sniper mastermind Muhammad executed

I don't believe that their should ever be rejoicing concerning the death of another human being, but their should be rejoicing when justice is done. This man deserved his sentence and his fate. Let him now answer to God for his actions and those that remain in loss of their loved ones should know, that this man will never harm another.

What went wrong

Officials: U.S. Army Told of Hasan's Contacts with al Qaeda

Fort Hood suspect was under FBI probe in 2008

Fort Hood Suspect Warned of Muslim Threat Within Military

U.S. Knew of Suspect’s Tie to Radical Cleric

An interesting question it would appear from the day's headlines. As the appeasers and the egalitarians race about madly attempting to deny the known and supplant common sense and accountability with purposely massaged manipulations, all designed to draw attention away from the facts and cloud the reality.

We will probably never know what really happened inside Hasan's mind. Perhaps Hasan was an alien abductee and having been taken to the planet Zorn? His psyche has been replaced with that of a common garden insect? Therefore, there can be no culpability on his part whatsoever for his rampage. It's all so confusing to me.

I wish Christiane Amanpour or some similarly compassionate middle eastern reporter would step forward and explain it all to us so that we could understand it. Or perhaps someone can see if there is a book deal and or a movie in the offing if Hasan chooses to tell his side of the story as part of our collective insight into the religion of peace.

"Barack Is Too Busy,"

Obama Draws Criticism for Sitting Out Berlin Wall Anniversary

As Germany and the world look back and reflect on the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall this week, president Obama won't be present to acknowledge the roll that America and one of its greatest president's played in that history.

Too bad. But then again, who are the Germans or the Europeans to be imposing on the Messiah's time and itinerary right now. The president is a busy man. and besides, his interests and focus are in Asia and the middle east. Places where he feels more at home I suppose.

Which makes me pause and wonder, what will they be writing of his epitaph and legacy in another twenty years or so.

The way we get by

As we approach Veteran's Day this week, I hope that we all will remember what these men and women have sacrificed for us. And take a moment to reflect on what some folks like those in Bangor Maine have been doing to let our warriors know that they care and that there are those of us who are thankful.

Semper Fi.

Terrorist

Ever since the murders committed at Fort Hood last Thursday by the terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, I have witnessed the inevitable denials and attempts by the media and the White House. They have attempted to spin and deflect what has happened and they have attempted to change it into something entirely different from what most of us saw and recognize as the facts as they were initially and subsequently revealed.

Fox News even refused to acknowledge or report the suspect's name for hours after other major news organizations had identified him by his Muslim name. And as the days have passed since then, I have witnessed a bizarre dance between the truth and lies being performed across the board by American media and even the US Army. They are all in denial and they are all attempting to deny any involvement of his Muslim faith in his actions or motives.

A lot may not be known about the shooter's complete motives, but the American media spin machine has been working overtime in it's attempts to formulate plausible deniability for his Muslim connections and any possible influence of his faith on his actions last Thursday.

It's almost as if a veritable cottage industry has suddenly sprung up in defense of Nidal Malik Hasan and his Muslim heritage has suddenly been cloaked and covered over with what the media affectionately likes to refer to as "other concerns."

Apparently the media and those involved in the societal manipulation of our society as a whole, have come together to assert that there must be other dynamics at play and that Nidal Malik Hasan being a Muslim has very little if anything to do with either his life or his actions of last Thursday. Even the higher echelons of the US Army and the Pentagon have seemingly closed ranks and gathered their collective ten foot poles together, in order to push away from anything and everything that either questions Nidal Malik Hasan's Muslim heritage, or his documented outspoken feelings and beliefs as it concerns America's involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Is this an altered state of reality that I suddenly find myself in? Or is there some strange warping of time and space where the world is turned upside down? Where up is down, left is right and what you see and think are always the reverse of reality. If I didn't know better? I'd be tempted to believe that I have been kidnapped and taken down the rabbit hole of wonderland, but I know I am not dreaming and I know that I am not Alice.

This twisted sense of reality and its massaged manner of altering the facts, are the staples of present day mass media in America. Especially as it is performed and managed by the egalitarian controllers of thought, who manage and control every aspect of what is approved for dissemination from both government and media.

First they enter into a story and assert alternative explanations, then they hammer the truth and re-manufacture their own version of the truth until one easily replaces the other. And suddenly? What you thought was up is actually down and what you believed you had witnessed has been revealed as no more than an untrained, unsophisticated and ill informed observation.

The facts surrounding this massacre are relatively plain. Last Thursday, Nidal Malik Hasan entered into one of the processing centers at Fort Hood Texas and opened fire on dozens of defenseless American soldiers. Killing 13 and wounding dozens more.

I don't recognize this man as a soldier, therefore, it is at the least a misnomer to call him one or to attempt to associate him with his victims on that level of professionalism. I personally feel more comfortable associating him with that which he associated himself with last Thursday and before. He is a professed Muslim and a Muslim terrorist in my opinion. And as such his actions of last Thursday were steeped in the teachings of his faith and his own personal beliefs and expressions in that religion. Therefore, there is no deniability....none.

The Army and the media and the White House can carry forth and continue their disinformation campaign if they choose to, (and they will) but that isn't working on me. I know what has been revealed about this man and who he is and I do not accept the popularized thought police versions currently spewing forth from either the media or their handlers at the White House or in the Pentagon.

Is Nidal Malik Hasan a terrorist?

That seems to be the immediate question that has arisen in the past two days. Almost as if asking it lends credence to the belief in representation that he is not a terrorist.

Well let's see now......is he a terrorist? Well he wasn't a member of any known terrorist cells prior to his rampage. So that clinches it then! He couldn't have been a terrorist. Because he was never identified as a terrorist prior to his actions right? He was and is just some disgruntled soldier with post traumatic stress disorder who snapped. Right?

That may be a nice bedtime story for those gullible enough to swallow it, but it belies something our own dear Hillary Clinton first brought to our attention last year, when she coined the phrase..."the willing suspension of disbelief."

To believe that Nidal Malik Hasan was not engaged in a terrorist act against America last Thursday? Certainly requires a willing suspension of disbelief in my opinion. The man had gone on record both in direct conversations with others and in writing on the internet, both opposing his country's policies and actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and also by asserting his belief in the justness of any Muslim who strikes out and attacks America or Americans in either and individualistic or collective manner.

And the real clue to his motives rest in one simple phrase in my opinion...."Allahu akbar! -- Arabic for "God is great!"

What purpose would there be for this man of supposed non Muslim influence, to utter such a phrase while committing mass murder against those in the uniform of this nation?

I could go on with my point but it remains easily simple in my opinion. Nidal Malik Hasan cast his lot knowingly as he was committing mass murder and inflicting terror in the minds of his victims and all who would become aware of his actions that day.

In my opinion, there is no question and there is no debate on that issue. The man is guilty as charged, he is a terrorist. And anyone that believes that he was motivated by post traumatic stress disorder? Needs to first understand that he had never been in combat period, therefore, that is a moot point and a red herring.

The only PTSD that Nidal Malik Hasan will be exposed to, will be provided that he survives his injuries and has to face his own personal judgment as a failure before his God Allah.

Meanwhile thirteen innocent souls are today in the arms of the angels, while the others that he shot and attempted to murder, cling to life while they attempt to repair their shattered bodies and their shattered lives because of the actions of this man.

Is the man a terrorist? You damn right he is and he should be treated as such.

The Recurring Calls For Failure in Afghanistan

Gordon Brown: risk of British failure in Afghanistan is real

OK, maybe it is me? But I don't think so. From president Obama's continued couched references, to his out and out refusal to address the military requests for more troops, to his own hand picked general's report, which he has sat on for over two months now.

At each and every turn, there seems to be a growing sense that America is losing or has already loost the war in Afghanistan and that the probable best course of action, is to cut our losses and leave.

Of course, never let it be reminded that this is always the way liberals see the way to fight wars. Just run away. Or better yet, don't bother fighting them at all. Just let them waltz right in and then see what concessions can be bargained for.

And now comes Gordon Brown of the UK. He seems to be parroting the lines given him by Obama now. Bracing his country for the apparent inevitable. and that inevitable is appearing more and more by the day, as if defeat and withdrawal are the only options that either he or Obama are presently entertaining.

Why else the solemn faces and the continued rhetoric for bracing the people for the worst of news.

You decide. I already have.

The New "Don't Ask Don't Tell US Policy

Senate blocks census US-citizenship question

That's right. not a US citizen? Don't worry, you have friends in Washington. They are called democrats and they just love to circumvent the constitution and bestow rights on you that you should never have.

Mean while, Americans are being further raped and run into the ground by these liberal socialist egalitarians and their politically correct thought police.

Nice to know that our elected officials in Washington are looking out for the rest of us. Oh snap! Wait a minute governor! It's not us that they are looking out for, it is "them" that they are looking out for. As usual and always. After all, it's not about our better interests, it's about the consollodation of political power and the corruption that permeates Washington from top to bottom.

Only 512,000 jobs lost this past week

US job market grim despite improving signals

New claims for jobless benefits dropped more than expected to a seasonally adjusted 512,000 during the week ended October 31, the first decline following two weeks of increases and the lowest level since January 3, when claims stood at 488,000. Continuing claims also fell.

While this may strike some folks as good news? To me it says that we are still losing 2 million jobs a month and more. and we have been for the past six months.

So where is the end? Where is the silver lining? And when is Obama's stimulus going to kick in and create new jobs? Must stop typing now, as this holding my breath waiting for any of that to happen is causing me to become light headed.

The Incredible Shrinking Man

Barack in Bones

Drudge has been running this story all afternoon, accompanied by recent photographs of Obama looking almost skeletal. According to Obama, he is just skinny and according to the White House, he has just been working out and playing a lot of basketball and skipping a few meals.

Personally? I believe that his outward appearance is more indicative of his image with the public right now. and if anything, he is simply mirroring in the flesh what many have been saying for well over a year now. The man is shallow and of little substance.

Only now? It literally shows.

Another RINO Bites The Dust

Republican Scozzafava Endorses Democrat After Exiting N.Y. Congressional Race

Stranger than fiction. I have been watching this race at a distance, as the independent in the race had seemed to really be shaking up the status quo of this congressional race.

Then early this morning came the news that the Republican Scozzafava had abruptly pulled out of the race. While many in the media have chosen to portray her as a "moderate", I saw nothing in her position statements that made her moderate. She was liberal to the bone in my estimation and all it took was one look at her position on abortion and homosexual marriage to see that.

Now she has abruptly thrown her support to the democrat in the race. so what does that tell the average voter. She was/is liberal as they come and IMO, she was nothing more than a ringer in the race. And it would seem that many in the party recognized that reality and decided to put their support behind the conservative independent candidate.

Good for them. I will be interested to see how this election shakes out come Tuesday night.

Obama is too smart for us

That's right....Barack Obama is too smart for us and Americans are too dumb and under educated for their own good. Which is the only thing that Gore Vidal said in this entire interview that was correct on any level IMO. Americans are stupid. As further evidenced by those who watch the likes of Joy Beyhar and actually think or believe that her show is either informative or intellectually stimulating, much less a truthful representation of anything.

Remember, this is the same woman who is also a daily host on "The View." Where she and Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg gather daily to collectively amass and display their liberal acumen and then attempt to pass it off as reasoned commentary.

But back to this interview.

Aside from the fact that Vidal is as liberal as they come and more than willing to place his finances behind his political leanings, the amazing part of the interview comes at the end. Where after touting the supposed wisdom of Barack Obama and the innate ignorance of most of America, the man sits there and blatantly asserts that he is forlorn and apologetic for never having killed former President George Bush.

These are the types of people that are fawned over by liberal American media programming and their mindless day time television commentary shows. And not one eyebrow is raised or one exception taken by either the FCC or the Secret Service for that matter.

Those like Vidal and Beyhar are allowed their amusements and jabs at supposed humor and they are never questioned as to their own spewed version of hate.

Beyhar's complete interview with Vidal can be seen here. She "has been an admirer of his for years."

No never means no to a democrat

Health Care Businesses at Risk in House Bill

It is amazing to me to say the least, as I watch the writhing beast that we know as congress, as it continues to wrestle against the will of the American people. Democrats are famous for asserting that the will of the people must be listened to and that the majority of Americans should have their wishes and desires listened to in Washington. But give the democrats the opportunity and the ability? And give them the chance to pass legislation that they are after, in order to hammer some new socialist give away through congress and into law? And they simply refuse to take no for an answer. The people be damned.

In poll after poll and in report after report over the past three months, the American people have spoken their will and preference on the Obama health care proposals. "We don't want it. We are perfectly happy with what we have, now leave it and us alone."

But neither president Obama nor his loyal minions in congress are paying attention to what the people want. The are continuing to pursue their socialist agenda and they are pursuing it with a vengeance. They are going to pass their version of "affordable health care" one way or the other and America had just better get over it as far as they are concerned.

Have a look at this.

Democrats hope to vote next week on the measure, which would extend health coverage to tens of millions of Americans who don't have it, impose sweeping new restrictions on private insurers and create a government-run insurance plan to compete with them.

This bill was dead on arrival with the American people weeks ago, but Pelosi and Reid refuse to allow it to die. They continue to pump life into it and they continue to re-write it and re-work it every day and week after week. And the amazing thing about it? What gets cut out of the bill today? Seems to mysteriously re-appear later as it is re-worked once again by the madame of congress.

Among the industries targeted in the bill are medical device makers -- one of the few that failed to cut an early behind-the-scenes deal with Obama and Democrats to help pay for an overhaul. The House added $20 billion in taxes on sales of medical devices like artificial hips and heart stents to the legislation Democratic leaders unveiled Thursday.

That's more than the industry wants to pay, but it's a substantial reprieve from an earlier plan in the Senate to slap a $40 billion fee on medical device makers. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has agreed to slash the fee, in part to win cooperation from fence-sitting Democratic Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana.

And as you wade through the reports of the most current version of this bill, it would seem that those in the medical industry targeted by Pelosi's taxes, have just given up and accepted the fact that they are going to be taxed into oblivion by this legislation. And in my opinion there is a reason for the fact that they have given up. They have known all along that they are not going to pay it if they lose.

Regardless of the amount of additional taxes crated to burden the industry to pay for this latest slice of socialist Nirvana, those in the industry realize that all they have to do is simply pass the costs along to the consumer.

Therefore, that hip replacement that you or a loved one may require after this bill passes? Well get ready to pony up and pay that tax when you go to have the surgery. The insurance companies certainly aren't going to pay for it. As a matter of fact? There is yet another example of how this bill has become like some Medusa head. Regardless of how much gets cut away, it simply re-spawns more of the same as time passes. And the "public option" is once again in the Pelosi bill. Not that it ever really left. It has just been re-worked and re-entered for the madame's pleasure. And there it is once again. So once this bill is passed and all these hidden taxes have become law, all these new fees and taxes will be included in the cost of doing health care business in America. And the insurance companies will either pay it? Or go out of business.

My bet is that most of them will go out of business on the health care end and simply re-tool themselves into commercial liability carriers. Which leaves us (Americans) with what? The government option?

That is precisely the way I see it and the vicious circle and cycle of socialism continues. The socialists like Pelosi and the rests see it as a simple issue of continuing to tax the "evil rich" (code words for the middle class) to pay for their dream of continuing to propel their socialist class struggle. They have never considered the fact that they are killing the golden goose that has paid for and propelled this nation to prosperity for 200 years. all they know is that other people have the money and the ability to pay for their dream scape world of socialist nirvana and they damn well are not going to allow the opportunity to claim what is their to pass.

Happy days America! You are about to enter into the greatness of the largest lie ever perpetrated against this nation. And you will pay for every ounce of it. At least until you are bled completely dry. And then you will truly understand the costs of living in a socialist dream world.

Honoring the fallen?

Obama Honors Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan

I am sorry, but I have a problem with that. As I was watching the morning news this morning, the very first thing I see being reported, is the story of president Obama's trip to Dover Air Force base late last night, to receive the returning dead from Afghanistan. Ostensibly the purpose behind his trip, was to pay tribute to the fallen eighteen Americans whose bodies were returned home late last night from Afghanistan.

The president was filmed by the media shaking hands with various military personnel, then as he stood in line and saluted the flag draped coffin of one of the eighteen as they were carried from the plane. The reporter went on to explain that the president later met with the family of one of the fallen soldiers in a hanger at the air base, before departing back to Washington after 1 AM.

I am sorry, but my heart does not go out to this man's contrived representations and shallow displays of sincerity and concern for our troops. The reporter covering the story on ABC news this morning quickly noted that President Bush, while having met with "many" families of fallen soldiers during his presidency, never made a trip to Dover Air Base to receive any of the returning dead. I suspect that was an attempt at a liberal media analogy of some value to them, but somehow it failed to register with me.

No, George Bush never went to Dover Air Force base for a photo op with the bodies of the fallen, but he did go to dozens of other places to receive the families of those who had fallen in the service of this nation. And he did it most often to no fanfare or media coverage what so ever and usually in complete isolation from the media's awareness or knowledge period. The only reason that anyone knew of his actions toward these families at all, was because the families later related their sincere thanks for what the president had done for them in private.

The fact that he had not only received them, but that he had also taken extensive time to be with them and each time it was reported by those present that he took the time to pray with them for their lost loved ones. Those are the stories that were never given the front page of American media or morning news programs during his presidency. Those stories made their way to public awareness only via the oblique reporting of less than mainstream sources and long after the fact of their occurrence. And in my opinion? That is as it should be. These are actions that are reflections of the personal character of the man and they should not be bragged about or held out as examples of sincerity in any form before the media. For to do so only diminishes the act IMO and immediately brings into question the individual's sincerity and true purpose in conducting them.

And now that this president has literally sat on his hands for the past sixty plus days since receiving the request for more troops in Afghanistan? (From his own hand picked general by the way). I am supposed to ignore the fact that he has done absolutely nothing while American troops have continued to die waiting on his decisions in Afghanistan? I am supposed to simply ignore that this man has shown less than respect for those who serve in our military since he took the office and before that? I am supposed to forget that this president has spent far more time engaged in apologies on the world stage as it concerns American military operations, than he has spent thanking those in uniform who are serving and suffering and dying. I am supposed to forget all that because he has now suddenly decided that he needs some face time and media coverage with a fallen soldier's family, to somehow off set the reality that he has done absolutely nothing to garner any respect from those who are serving and dying in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I am sorry, but I cannot put some things out of my mind. Nor can I remove the images both witnessed and those perceived that this man has created in my mind via his words and deeds and the absence there of. As a former Marine and as someone who spent thirty years after my service in that uniform, engaged in the protection of others while wearing another uniform, I find it very hard to accept this man's protestations and his attempts at staged sincerity before the cameras.

My differences with George Bush were many, but I never challenged the man's sincerity and earnest compassion when it came to his responsibilities as Commander in chief. I never felt anything less than his sincere heart felt concern and love when it came to his dealings with the families of those that he had sent into harms way.

I don't feel that sincerity with Barack Obama and I don't feel any sincerity in this man at all as a matter of fact. And there is just cause for my feelings in my opinion. The man may be able to make a wonderful speech, but he has absolutely no currency with me when it comes to his ability to instill any belief in either his sincerity or leadership abilities as it concerns the protection of this nation. Especially as it concerns his contrived interests in those in the military. A military that for all intents and purposes, he openly disdains and has for the large portion of his life.

No Commander in chief that I have ever witnessed during my time on this earth has ever sat idly by while our soldiers and Marines died and then told the press and the people that he was consulting with his councils and taking his time in decision making, because he wanted to get it right.

There are a few old maxims that immediately leap to my mind Mr. president.

"Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way."

And one quote that seems more than prescient Mr. president?

"A leader is a dealer in hope."
Napoleon Bonaparte

That was part of your hustle as I remember it Mr. president. Something about hope and change as I recall.

Make a decision Mr. president, even if it is a wrong decision! American soldiers and Marines are dying! Allow your commanders to do what needs to be done in Afghanistan in order to get the job done and protect our people, but don't sit there idly behind your walls, while more and more of our young men and women die needlessly every day as you fiddle and diddle and play politics while reading your push polls.

And one more thing Mr. president....please don't further tarnish yourself while continuing to offend me and millions of other Americans, while you engage in these contrived displays of your faux sincerity and photo-shopped interest in the price that our military pays daily for our freedom.

In a word Mr. president? It's disgusting. and quite frankly? You haven't earned it and I am not so sure that you ever will. Mr. president.....you disgust me.
