I don't know how a lot of people feel about this? But from my perspective, this is a dual edged sword. First, bailing out these big banks represents precisely what? I mean if the end result of not bailing them out means fewer banks and tighter controls on lending practices? I am all for that.

The stupidity of the democrats whose liberalized Fannie and Freddie policies of supposed "affordable housing" is what got us here after all. Affordable to them means two things. Free for the most part number one and find someone else to pay for it number two. Well we now see how well all that worked out. or have we. And now they want to give us affordable health care. And on top of that, we did just elect a democrat to the presidency who has all but assured us that he would wreak further havoc on the American economy in the name of "spreading the wealth around." So can we afford a Detroit bailout? And will any of us even be able to afford to drive what we have in the next 24 months, much less buy something new.

But never the mind on the bank bailout, we went ahead and began plans to bailout a number of the big banks along with Fannie and Freddie as soon as we so the deep doo doo meter reach critical mass in October. And now come the big three auto makers wanting the same deal and speaking of the doom to come, if we as a nation don't ante up once again with more billions for them. So the big three auto makers, who are each individually up to their asses in unionized operating burdens and a consumer market that is for the most part too scared to buy a new car, and those who aren't are incapable of finding financing? Wants an American tax payer financed kick stand to prop them up until the stabilize. But the big questions remain, will they stabilize? Can they stabilize? And how long will that take?

So what do you do when no one will pay $1 a piece for your widgets? You drop the price to $0.50, only to discover that they still don't want to buy your widgets. Now what? Get the government to subsidize your operating expenses for some undisclosed period of time, say six months or a year? And then what happens if the customers are still too skittish to want to temp fate and assume a new car note?

There in lies the dilemma as I see it. The American people are being taxed (literally) to attempt to pay for their own economic survival and in the interim, I don't see the cost benefit analysis as described, being beneficial to anything, other than to keep the plates spinning and the fading illusion of solvency for a little while longer.

Or in essence, unless and until the entire monetary system of this country and the world's economy are collapsed and reconstituted?  There is no way for the present economy and world currencies to be sustained, defended or rescued from collapse. Regardless of what we do.  I call that the classic Humpty Dumpty scenario of our economy. I just don't see how this train wreck can be fixed, until all the existing track is ripped up and replaced with a solid roadbed.

In a letter to Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr., House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) asked Paulson to "review the feasibility . . . of providing temporary assistance to the automobile industry during the current financial crisis."

As I sit here looking at yesterday's election results -- maps, vote tallies, exit polls, state and national results, and much more -- I have to say that, like many of you, I'm in a state of shock.

Not because I'm surprised, mind you -- I warned you that this would happen if the Republican Party nominated John McCain for president.

Yes, I was right... but believe me, that doesn't make me happy. What it makes me... is angry.

• Angry at the Democrats, of course. Once again, they ran a campaign full of lies and hate-filled attacks, from Obama's claims that he had "never heard" his racist pastor's anti-American rhetoric over a 20-year period of time, to his claims that his terrorist friend Bill Ayers was "just a guy in the neighborhood," to outright slanderous speech against Governor Sarah Palin... but hey, I expect the Democrats to act that way. It's their nature.
• Angry at the "moderate" (meaning liberal) Rockefeller-wing of the Republican Party, who tried to kill the idea of grassroots involvement of hardworking, patriotic, conservative Americans in our party. There's NO grassroots activism when the Rockefeller wing's philosophy prevails; that wing of the party consists of "kingmakers" operating from behind the throne, while the Reagan wing of the party has always lived and thrived at the grassroots, where the real Americans live. When the Rockefeller-wing philosophy prevails, the GOP loses. When the Reagan wing is in control, we win.
• Angry with President Bush because he was unwilling to stop Republican Congressional leaders from overspending and because his administration failed to lay the blame for the financial crisis at the feet of Rep. Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd that protected Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from reform.
• Angry at the so-called "leaders" of our party, who promised us that if we'd just vote for who they put up for election, we'd finally get what we wanted: smaller government, lower taxes, dramatically lower spending, pro-life laws, pro-marriage constitutional amendments, pro-American economics... well, YOU AND I put them in power, and they gave us nothing but BIG GOVERNMENT, BIG DEFICITS, and LIBERAL COMPROMISES.

Is this a center right country anymore? Or based on last night's election, have we become a center left country? Or are we as Americans simply tired and believe that change regardless of degree or depth, is the only remedy for what ails us.

I live in Georgia and my state was solidly in McCain's camp last night as the votes were tallied.
I went into town today to do my walking and then to go by the barbershop to get a haircut.  And let me just say that the reactions and conversations were neither unexpected or approving of the new president elect.

My barber (a young woman in her very early 30's) came by the shop on her off day and literally looked physically ill when I saw her enter. I asked her if she felt alright and she spun and looked me square in the eye and told me directly, that she literally felt sick to her stomach over this election. And she did so while visibly holding her stomach. "What the hell were these people thinking!"

And among  the men....there were several who found the largest amount of blame for this political tragedy with one George W. Bush. Combined with the fact of whom "we" had supposedly chosen to represent the republican party this go round.

As I explained to several of the gentlemen present, I have more than a few bones to pick with President Bush and his handling of foreign and domestic affairs over the past three years in particular has led significantly to what we witnessed at the polls yesterday IMO too.

But a large portion of the blame for this loss rests on the square reality that John McCain never was the candidate of the people of the party in my belief. Or the belief of many others that I have talked to over the past six months for that matter.  He may have been the darling of the newly arrived grand old party of moderate change? But many party loyalist saw hues and stripes on this particular dog that we never liked or agreed with from the beginning.

Problem was, his succeeding in the passage of his bill (McCain Feingold) left us with nothing other than a media propelled candidacy for, for who they (the media) wanted the GOP candidate to be. And the rest as they say is history. The party faithful were left out of the equation from day one, and they and the party know it.

Therefore, we are left now at the complete mercy of a liberal socialist party that is more inspired to prove itself and it's newly invigorated socialist roots and more determined to wipe the scourge of George W. Bush from the collective memory of this land, than they are to concern themselves about the slippery slope that they have willingly sought to place the future of this country on.

In an old southern adage of perspective? We are in a fine pickle and there isn't a damn thing we can do but ride this mule to town and hope like hell there is better stock for the trading when we get there.

But somehow I see this as one long an arduous journey and I am not sure that it is one that we will all survive.

Well, it's a little after 6 AM here in the east. And yes, I went to sleep on the grand coup of American politics about 10 last night. As I have long since known that there was no point in wasting sleep and rest on the inevitable that I have seen looming for months.

I rose to see John McCain making his concession speech at 4AM EST from Arizona. And of course all the talking heads in the media are now in the first major waves of an after glow that will last for a few weeks IMO. But I sincerely believe that before inauguration day ever arrives for Barack Obama, many of those who betrayed their future and their family's future  on the alter of egalitarian relativism yesterday, will already have come to realize the drastic mistake that has been made.

The leadership of this country should not be decided by the falsely generate popularity contest of some contrived media contest that rivals a true rendition of American Idol. If it is possible for this nation to vote someone into the presidency of the United States based simply on empty popularity and absent any measurable history or record of ability to lead, aside from an abounding absence of personal character and a clear detestation for what this nation represents.......then I believe that we as a people have accomplished it wit the election of one Barack Obama.

I have now lived to see the complete transformation of reason that was forewarned so many years ago and from the age of my youth. Nakita Kruchev warned us and his words are echoing and resonating through the chambers of my mind as they have never before. And I feel sure that as the sun rises on this nation today, there will be many more who will feel the same chill as I, as they contemplate the same words from so long ago.

The coup d’état of American character and morality has been accomplished. And it took a little over forty years for Kruchev's reality of sincere pursuit to be visited on this nation. It wasn't only
Kruchev who was pursuing the downfall of this nation, but he certainly was the only one on the side of the enemy to sound the warning that would go unheeded.

There will be calls now to rebuild the grand old party. To resurrect the ghost and pick up the standard and such. To seek out the new leaders and champions to come....capable of staunching the flow and returning reason to the rancorously unreasonable. but just as Margaret Mitchell once observed of another lost cause of this country.  All of the past glory and greatest of shared desire and ambition have been stricken from our future. And all that remains in the aftermath, is the realization that all that we ever knew and all that we could have ever become.....is now gone with the wind.

I have to wonder about the state of Pennsylvania. I mean this election is really going to tell a lot about where these people who live in Pennsylvania's head is at IMO.

Back during th Pennsylvania primary, is where Barack Obama made his first political misstep. Or so it would seem. that was the point where his famous "people cling to their guns and religion" remarks. but according to the polls? You would never know that he ever uttered the remarks.

The polls reflect that Pennsylvania remains a "battleground" state in this election, with Barack Obama surging ahead of John McCain. What's is up with that? Do these people not get television or radio news or newspapers in Pennsylvania? Sure they do, but are they paying attention?

On Friday the revelation came out concerning Barack Obama's stated intent to the San Francisco Chronicle during an interview, where he clearly stated his intent to bankrupt the coal industry period. Obama explained that his plan was to make it so burdensome with federally mandated EPA carbon fines, as to put those in the coal business and those who attempt to use coal out of business.

Will this be the straw that breaks the camel's back in Pennsylvania? I mean Pennsylvania is "coal country" isn't it? Or are these dumb smucks so blinded by the robes of the messiah, as to completely destroy their own futures for the opportunity to say that they voted for the American Idolatry candidate?

I certainly hope that there are more than just the supposed rednecks of western Pennsylvania that (hopefully soon to be ex congressman) John Murtha referred to last week during his own death spiral. Or is being pro your own survival in the face of a candidate who has repeatedly told you, that not only doesn't he respect you, but he also intends to put you in line for poverty, enough to bring out the vote of reason in Pennsylvania?

I have lived long enough to see some crazy things both in life and in politics. But if Pennsylvania goes for Barack Obama, along with any other Appalachian state involved in coal production, or the heritage and belief of family values and God and the constitutional right to bear arms?

Then i think that what left of the rest of us should form a committee and seriously look into another secessionist movement in this country. Perhaps that Alaskan party that they keep trying to hang around the neck of Sarah Palin is ahead of us all in recognizing the reality of what needs too be done.

I am seriously worried and concerned for the future of this country, if this interloping poser Barack Obama succeeds in winning this election.

This is the current front page photo on the Drudge Report. Is it just me? Or is the media's use of messianic imagery beyond the pale? This trend of photographing Obama with the halo effect, has been being observed and noted for months now. Parodies have even been done about it and there is at least one website that I have seen, that is actually tracking and cataloging all the instances of staged photos with the messianic glow or halo effect involving Obama.

But at this point in the process? The ever looming larger question in my mind is why? Why so much forced perspective and religious iconery? Why every day? Why is the media so obsessed with portraying this messianic image.

My personal opinion? The leftist secular media is literally making fun of the conservative religious right in this country. Literally rubbing their noses in their intentional blasphemy of iconic Christian images of the savior.

The media sees this as funny. A subtle way to poke Christians in the eye and say hey! Look at us! We have our messiah too! Little do they realize that the anti American left tilted media? May in fact have achieved their desire. And unwittingly? They may very well have brought forth the foretold anti Christ of prophesy.

Is an effigy of political speech an effigy? Or is it something else? And what is precisely the difference? Sarah Palin has been swinging in the breeze for several days now in west Hollywood California? And all that the media or anyone else seems to be able to say or think about it is is "So what?" Even the US Secret Service had a look see and exhaled a collective "we could care less." Or was that simply due to who was involved and who wasn't involved?

You know what? I tend to agree with the sentiments of: So what?

Americans have been hanging politicians in effigy for over 150 years that I know of, as evidenced by the snippet that I placed at the bottom of this thread. So what's changed?

Nothing accept that once again Americans are reintroduced to what is really permissible and socially acceptable as free speech speech in America and what isn't. Or more importantly? What is hate speech in America? Or should we just go ask Bill Clinton for a contemporary definition of what the definition of is "is" this week?.

And as evidenced by the article snippet below, some other folks are beginning to respond to and answer the question that has been repeatedly asked for several days now all across the country, although mostly in private conversations. "What would be the reaction in the media and with the "powers that be" if someone was to hang Barack Obama in effigy?

That question was answered earlier today and the answers are already pouring in. We now have the president of the university of Kentucky apologizing to the thought police and black Americans for the indiscretions of some of his students. And the news reported just a few minutes ago....that there is a private citizen elsewhere in America, who has done the exact same thing. Seems this citizen has a son serving in the US military and that son is currently serving in Iraq and his father is voicing his objections to a potential Obama presidency and what that represents to him. sounds like basic first amendment stuff to me.

Now the real "q u e e r" thing about all this in my opinion? Is that there was a time when those in this country actually enjoyed "freedom of speech." And I for one believe that there should be a move to recapture that heritage. And these supposed "hate crimes" of speech? Well they can be Damned! I will speak my mind and those that don't like it? Well they know what part of my anatomy they can kiss.

School president plans to personally apologize to the Obama family

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Authorities at the University of Kentucky are trying to find out who hung an effigy of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on campus.

College spokesman Carl Nathe said it was found hanging from a tree Wednesday morning. Police immediately took it down.

School President Lee Todd says that he plans to personally apologize to the Obama family on behalf of the university and that he is "personally offended and deeply embarrassed by this disgusting episode."

As the closing days of the presidential campaign have unfolded, much attention has been brought over the last week to the issue of socialism in the Obama philosophy and his political viewpoints of intended policy. Beginning with the Joe the plumber faux pas that occurred about ten days ago now in Toledo Ohio, the media has finally found a small sliver of Obama's blood in the water that they have demonstrated a passing interest in playing with.

And that interest was propped up and given a new burst of energy last week, when Joe Biden while being interviewed by an Orlando television affiliated, seemed to literally skewer old Joe with the petard that the socialist left is now fleeing from. Many democrats now look as if voyeurs somehow stricken by religion, having been caught in the reading room of a bordello glancing through the catalog of inventory.

But even with all the renewed interest and even with at least two audio tapes surfacing over the past weekend, each of which demonstrating a clear track record and favored political philosophy of socialism by one Barack Obama? The real issue of socialism as proposed by none other than Barrack Obama, once again fails to gain the public scrutiny that it so richly deserves. Especially if this is precisely what America is about to have packed up their backsides, by Barack Obama if he wins this election next week.

Obama's plans of socialism literally comes directly from the Karl Marx play book of socialism/communism. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" Obama so much as said it outright when he addressed Joe the plumber in Toledo ten days ago. That's where all the controversy over Obama's socialism finally surfaced. Never mind that many like myself have been madly ringing the fire bell now for months. And trying to get people's attention to actually look at this hipster from Chicago and the largest liberal left machine in this country that propelled him to the present state of almost there.

All that Barack Obama has done and is doing? Is engaging in the practical application of Marx's Critique of the Gotha Program. Look it up, it's relatively self explanatory. As are the basic principles of precisely how and why dictatorship of the proletariat is the objective of all committed communists and socialists. But at the same time it demonstrates why the entire political theorem of socialism fails and always has failed. And always will fail every time that it is scrutinized for substance and content.

Barack Obama wants Americans to believe that spreading the wealth is the right thing to do. He wants Americans to believe that there are and will always be the fattened calves of the evil rich, whose wealth can always be drawn on. That the evil rich will always be available for the socialist harvest and that the regular slaughter of their loins for the collective good of all is always the right thing to do.

However, as with many of the ideological theories of the supposed enlightened left, they fail to take the experiment of socialism and carry it forth to it's final conclusive evidence of failure. So much better the dream than the reality.

If it is no more complicated than "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need?" Then why bother attempting individual wealth to begin with? As long as there will "always be those" available to strip of their accumulated work and wealth? Then why bother to attempt to attain individual collective work or wealth for yourself period?

There will always be those evil doers about according to the Barack Obama's of the world. And all that is required to propel the starship Nirvana perpetually? Is the regular and government regulated skinning of the pious rich, by those whose only purpose of existence is to perpetuate fairness and equality for all. At the direction and guidance of a benevolent government of course.

Are you getting the picture on this now? Are you seeing where the flaw in the socialist programming really is? Are the Emperor's new clothes becoming just a bit more transparent if not falling away completely?

You see, the problem with socialism and the problem with Barack Obama's vision of "New Deal Socialism" in the 21st century, is that there must be incentives for people to want to achieve and succeed at anything in life, if they are going to become rich and harvest-able at some point in the future for the socialists? Then they have to have an incentive beyond being the Aphids in the ant colony of life. But the socialist model not only penalizes the reality of individuality, but it also stifles it and strangles it in it's entirety. Therefore, how does one become a fattened calf? If there is no desire to become one exists and only misery and disdain follows after those who have?

For you see, there can be no individual wealth if all is distributed equally to everyone in the absence of individual accumulation and a complete lack of desire to achieve. Which leaves only one accumulator of wealth in reality. The accumulation of government wealth. And what does history show us and prove time and time again, whenever, power and wealth are concentrated in the hands of government and the ruling class of government appointed rulers?

And what happens when we take away people's incentives to strive and achieve individually? And when we tell the people "don't worry, it will be alright. Everything will be taken care of for you and all will be provided for you, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need?" Then friends the reality of the fallaciousness of socialism as represented becomes dramatically clear IMO.

Socialism isn't the answer or the pathway to either equity, fairness or social Nirvana. Socialism is the means and the mechanism of enticement used by despots and tyrants. It is the eye and mind candy used by those who's object it is to enslave rather than bestow freedom. And up to this point in history, it has always been employed against the capriciously massaged minds of those who already had little to lose but themselves. It was first deployed in America in the 1930's by one Franklin Roosevelt, but the transformation wasn't completed then. Only the seeds planted deep in the collective psyche of America.

To be completely successful, the minds and the characters of large quantities of the population must be lulled into the belief that times are so dire, that only one answer remains. Hence the present dilemma being proffered by the collective socialists of the world and their Vichy brethren in seats of power globally. Those who are actually manipulating the American and global economy and preparing the ground for the coming of the Obama presidency and the new world order that we have all heard of, but never believed possible in our time.

Time is short people. Our time as a nation may be critically short. The game may already be lost and each of us may be already headed into a dim and dire future. I sincerely hope and pray that enough Americans will stand up on November 4th and brush the veil of socialist lies from their eyes and deny this socialist interloper the prize of the American presidency. Because if they don't? We may be watching the last days of this nation as we know it.

Does anyone remember back in March of this year? Back when the story making the rounds of all the major media outlets, was the report that someone had illegally accessed the private passport records of candidate Barack Obama? Surely the records of Hillary Clinton and John McCain had supposedly been violated also, but the
q u e e r part of the story that caused it to go stale rather quickly? Was the fact that two of Barack Obama's supposed contractors were mysteriously dismissed before investigators could interview them concerning their involvement in the breach of privacy involving all the candidates passport records.

The media played the story of the violated privacy rights the obligatory 48 hour run, and they milked it for all the violations of supposed sensibilities that the liberal left could ring from it, before allowing it to go away to lie and die by itself with never any further inquiry into "who" had actually been involved in these criminal acts. Or more specifically? Who and why and for what purpose. And why once associations with the Obama campaign were revealed by investigators, all aspects of serious inquiry slid easily into yesterday's news and everyone moved on after that and the story simply died.

Now fast forward to the present. October 15th to be specific. Barack Obama is engaged in a walking tour of neighborhoods in Toledo Ohio when he encounters one Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher. Who will here after and for ever more be known and remembered as "Joe the plumber." Seeing the hoopla that afternoon, Joe decided that he wanted to ask the would be president how his tax plan would affect someone like him (Joe) who was a plumber and who intended to hopefully buy his own (plumbing) business in the future. And the answer that Barack Obama gave, literally became the "shot heard round the world."

Attempting to be his affable self in front of the cameras that day, Obama had let slip the confident facade of ease of interaction with the people and he had attempted to honestly represent his reasoning to Joe. But the problem was that in doing so, Obama had revealed the real truth lingering behind the carefully crafted representations and the campaign rhetoric designed to disguise the reality. Obama as he himself explained it, has intents only of "spreading the wealth around." Nothing harmful about that right?

Well apparently nothing quite as harmful as reality is as potentially politically damaging as the cold hard truth when mixed with reality. Obama had slipped up and inadvertently spoken the truth to Joe. And the resonance of what was said and the intended reference of what that meant by Obama, quickly became two mutually exclusive realities in the political world of double speak and veiled representations.

And John McCain and others across the American political landscape immediately recognized what had been said and precisely what that statement represented in reality in the race for the presidency. Obama had revealed by his own words what his true intentions for leading this nation to the promised land in actuality were. And his path was as clear as it had been described by his opponent for months. Obama was/is a socialist. And he had just said so! He couldn't have done a better job of it if he had spoken word for word from Marx's manifesto!

And as some might rightly imagine, these revelations didn't set well with the mass and mainstream media of America or globally for that matter. Some commoner, some lowly little man from some obscure little place like Toledo Ohio? Had suddenly caused the carefully crafted political veil of the man who would be king to slip? And the unrepentant and un-nuanced and unvarnished truth and reality was allowed to shone through? Can't have that! I can hear it now, on the blackberries and the cell phone calls to the media their field agents and personalities and foot soldiers all along the unbiased and partisan ranks of American media. Kill him! Do away with this little man! Get rid of this upstart! Squash him into the ground and eradicate his memory from the collective thoughts of those that we seek to control! (But first discredit him).

And thus the onslaught of the American media machine began it's juggernaut launch into what it does best. Misinformation and character assassination. But wait.....? Can we accomplish the task without the requisite necessities of information? Tarry not squires! Seeketh out the informers and those in the seats of government power who have access and knowledge and the data bases. Agreeth with them to slake their thirst for future considerations, if only they will provide the requisite necessities now, of revealing the inner most secrets of one Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher and what the public records data bases will provide.

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen. As evidenced by reports this morning, the life and privacy of one Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher has been offered up and provided to the media for the taking. The story is really quite compelling. It can be reviewed HERE. Where the lurid tales are once again revealed, of how politics are really played by the big boys and how nothing is really private, as long as you have the money or the contacts in government.

Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.

It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why. Direct access to driver's license and vehicle registration information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business.


And what will be done about these breeches of privacy and felonious violations of both state and federal law? I am betting that not a Damn thing will result from these actions being revealed and brought forth into the light. No one cares after all, unless of course it is their own obscure and insignificant life that is being spied upon by the powers that Be. And after all, this is just an election for the presidency of the United States. And this isn't Watergate. (or is it) Even if it does involve plumbers and violations of the law and a man and his operatives who will do anything including violation of the laws of the land to see him elected.

On a side note....when I first attempted to post my remarks this morning? I had the audacity to attempt to utilize the the word "q u e e r" to convey the "strange and bizarre manner in which certain aspects of the story concerning the passport investigation were handled. Only to be notified by the Townhall.com word filters? That "that" word is considered inappropriate language.

I have been watching the presidential campaign along with many in this country for the past six months and before. And the more that I have watched, the more that I have seen a palpable sense of arrogance on the part of the democrats in general an Barack Obama in particular. And the only part of that arrogance that has changed or differed during the course of my observations, has been the decided and determined crash of the Hillary Clinton campaign. This time a year ago, there was no doubt that come this November, Hillary would be the democratic candidate and would in all probability win this election with ease.

All that changed with the risen salvation of the new socialist left in America. Hillary was no longer considered the preferred champion of the socialist cause. The new leader for that movement had been fired and tested in the crucible of Chicago politics and his mettle was proved immediately when he laid waste to and defeated the opponent who many had come to know as the Hilda beast.  Hillary was no beast in the face of an overwhelming movement to elect America's first black president. In fact?Hillary never even stood a chance.

But what keeps coming back to my thoughts is the overwhelming arrogance of this campaign. From the brash assertions that Obama would remain on the high ground and above the normal hissing and spitting of typical political campaigns, to the pledge that he would agree to utilize only public funds. To his world tour and rock style promotion in Europe. Each and every step of the way there has been the arrogance. Say one thing first, then change position and glare at the media for having taken notice. That has been one of his favored techniques of addressing his ever changing policy and position statements. Just like he did with Katie Couric when she tried to pin him down on his Iraq surge sentiments.

Then there have been the less than subtle efforts to carve out racial divides by the O man, while at the same time attempting to claim that it is in fact the opposition engaging in racial politics and the playing of race cards.  And now in the final days of this campaign, the parallels of arrogance are not only striking, but they are literally dripping with arrogance and sarcasm.

Looking back on the democratic convention seven weeks ago? Who would have thought that what was being demonstrated was in actuality the preparatory exercises of a coronation? But that is precisely what was evident to those who were observant of the Greco Roman theatric production. There are twelve days left in this race and for the past forty eight hours, the media has been replete with articles reporting on the celebrations being planned by the Obama campaign. In Hyde Park in Chicago? There are literally millions being spent by the city of Chicago in preparation for the coronation. And the Obama campaign has apparently already conveyed ease of mind to Chicago officials concerning the costs. The campaign is promising all of the costs will be covered. And why wouldn't they be, seeing as the Obama campaign is literally dripping with funding.

Then there is the issue of the other Chicago "O". The one known as Oprah. After noticeably dropping from the forefront of the O mans campaign several months ago, Oprah is now throwing the weight of her considerable production company (Harpo) behind making sure that the Obama coronation is a night to remember in Chicago and nationally.

And as an added incentive to insure that there are no last many jitters on the part of officials around the country, the waters have already been seeded with the probable and potential consequences and repercussions should by some bizarre stretch of the imagination, Obama actually lose this election. In other words, there will be hell to pay and rioting in the streets are anticipated all across America in the event of such an obvious tragedy.

Therefore, the question rightfully must be asked, "is it bragging if he can do it?" Is Obama bragging? Or is he simply telling the country rather openly of what is about to come to pass. As if the people of this country are only an after thought in the new political process. More spectator than participant? Or is the Obama campaign attempting the age old tactic and ploy of talking a good game, because they know that this thing is closer than they could either have wished or imagined or cared for. And they know that they have to pull out the stops on game changers now or else watch it all slip away. Even if that means spending a couple of hundred million dollars erecting the largest facade ever built before a presidential election, to insure that the emperor has the best new wardrobe for his coronation.

What will it take for the American people to get it? What will it take before they wake from their sel induced slumber and actually see the writing on the wall? We have two weeks left before this election. Exactly two weeks left before we choose the next president of this country. And for all intents and purposes? It looks like the majority of the country is content to just let an avowed socialist literally waltz into the office of the presidency of this country, while thumbing his nose at the majority of people of this country every inch of the way.

Two days ago Joe Biden, (the one who will fetch the slippers for The One once they are installed in the White House) was warning the country that bad things are looming on the horizon once Obama is elected. Kinda like the prewar pep and prep talk just to let us know, that the democrats realize all too well what is in store for this country once Barack Hussein Obama slides his shoes underneath the resolute desk. 

Biden wasn't even coy about his assessments. Openly stating that  there will be an attack against this country and for the intended purpose of testing the newly elected socialist appeaser. Just so they can see just what the response will be if any. Or could it be that this attack will not so much be a test, as much as it will be a verification of assessment and: therefore, the green light for the despots and fascists of the world to move with their other long planned but postponed worldly agendas.

Not the least of which will be the complete obliteration of Israel and the reclamation of Taiwan and a once and for all slap down for Tibet and India and anyone else who doesn't bow to the risen Islamic new age and the collusion of communism that is certain to be revealed globally in the very near future.

Even Madeline Albright commented on the veracity of Biden's comments and lends her opinion that these are things to be expected and consequences to be anticipated by an Obama presidency. No mention in the media so far of the possible alternative. No mention of the fact that this nation hasn't been victimized again since 9/11 or the fact that we wouldn't have been victimized in the first place, had Bill Clinton not been asleep at the switch with a cigar in one hand and an intern in the other. Or that with all of his short comings and the supposed rave reviews of Oliver Stone's "W"? That we as a nation might just by chance still exist as one nation under God, simply because we had George W Bush as our president for the last eight years.

Joe Biden has spelled it out for us folks. No less than two weeks before the presidential election? And no one in the mainstream seems to be either paying attention or to care about anything, outside of the SNL ratings of having Sarah Palin as a guest has meant. Come November 4th the people of this country who consider their freedoms and way of life truly in jeopardy, had better show up at the polls and they had better be prepared to turn back this literal daylight robbery of the presidency of this country and by default our lives that the democrats are presently getting away with both stealing and destroying.

Once he is in office? It will be too late. And the consequences for this country are literally terrifying to even comprehend. But people better be getting prepared to live them.

What makes their speaking ability appear so gifted and what is it about their presentation that entrances and enthralls the listener to hang on their every word and to follow along like the mindless myrmidons and lemmings of our historical reference. And that someone at some point had simply sat down and applied analytical thinking and deduction to the process of successfully leading people through manipulative speaking. And where better to learn these techniques for a young Barack Obama, than at the feet of the professed and by observing and emulating the performances of charismatic preachers and others in his own life. This is where Barack Obama had his "Eureka moment" in my estimation. This is where Barack Obama learned to practice what is literally and correctly being described in this paper as a hypnotic technique, designed for no other purpose than to cultivate deceit and and a political following by the practitioner. I challenge all who are interested in knowledge and the workings of their environment, especially as it concerns politics and mass media and the marketing of Obama's supposed change, to indulge yourself for about forty five minutes and read this man's observations of what he has seen clearly as the purposeful manipulation of the American psyche by Barack Obama and more importantly, by those in the background supporting him and steering him.. Absent the influences and distractions of either his opposition or the mainstream media at large, Obama intends to make his pitch to the people. In other words, Barack Obama intends to have a private "mono y mono" moment with as many Americans as he can snare into watching his last big performance before the election. I for one intend to be there. Somehow or another, I haven't been either mesmerized or hypnotized by his rhetoric and presentation techniques. not surprising really, as on the two occasions in my life when people have attempted to hypnotize me? It didn't work. Therefore, I fully intend to watch his program on the 26th, just to see what is represented and with my newly acquired understanding of just how the messiah is accomplishing his cult like following? I intend to pass the word with a redoubled effort before it is too late for this country.

If there ever was a question of  the media creating the news then deciding which direction it would take? this has got to be the example. The "Joe The Plumber" story has now become the "Not So Average Joe" morph by the media.

The media created this guy. the media was responsible for thrusting this guy into the national spotlight, via their example and analogy of how this Joe six pack average Joe plumber type guy, would be one of the targets of Barack Obama's Tax and spend platform.

Therefore, was it predictable or unexpected? Was it some huge mystery that John McCain would recognize the potential value of highlighting the example provided to him by the media and the Obama campaign? I think not. But somehow the MS media now wants to portray the subsequent revelations that have come to light about Joe the plumber? As some misstep or gaff or failure to vet on the part of John McCain and his campaign.

What a load of horse hockey!

The media made Joe Plumber and now that their creation has been revealed to not be exactly what they had previously represented? Now that is somehow the failure and responsibility of John McCain and his campaign?

NEW YORK – John McCain hung his final presidential debate performance on an Ohio plumber who campaign aides never vetted.

A day after making Joseph Wurzelbacher famous, referencing him in the debate almost two dozen times as someone who would pay higher taxes under Barack Obama, McCain learned the fine print Thursday on the plumber’s not-so-tidy personal story: He owes back taxes. He is not a licensed plumber. And it turns out that Wurzelbacher makes less than $250,000 a year, which means he would receive a tax cut if Obama were elected president.

McCain likes to say that he isn’t George W. Bush – and in this case of bungled public relations, it is clear he is not. The famously-disciplined Bush campaign operation would likely have found the perfect anonymous citizen to illustrate a policy proposal, rather than spontaneously wrap itself around an unknown entity with so many asterisks.

While the arc of Wurzelbacher’s breakneck trip through the news cycle – from private citizen to insta-celebrity to political target – offers a curious insight into the political media culture, it also appears to offer a glimpse into the McCain campaign’s on-the-fly decision making style.

I may be wrong and if I am? It won't be the first time or the last time. But I have to believe that tonight's debate between Barack Obama and John McCain will be a bang and a whimper. A bang for Obama and a whimper for McCain. John McCain began about two weeks ago attempting to exploit the disparate character issues of his opponent and his friendships and associations over the years and decades with questionable people. Which was a good maneuver had he begun it back in May. But to wait until the last month of the campaign? Makes it look more like an act of desperation than a winning tactic in the eyes of most Americans.

During the last debate, John McCain should have pressed his accusations against Obama, he didn't. He left the accusations laying like the 900 pound gorilla in the room and it was Barack Obama who addressed them to the people. It was Obama who said, 'why didn't he say these things to my face.' Look for more of that tonight. It will be Obama who puts the dog on the table and confronts John McCain about the accusations McCain has made against him. And in doing so? Obama wins once again. He addresses and deflects the attacks and moves on.

John McCain said over the weekend, that he intended to kick Obama's you know what in this debate. Don't look for it. Look rather for Obama to peel the McCain onion before the eyes of America and close the final chapter on the McCain campaign. After tonight? I believe that John McCain's presidency is for all intents and purposes over.

Based on yesterday's headlines? One would think that pigs are about to begin racking up frequent flyer miles. But somehow I don't think so. I can remember this time four years ago. Back when the media was hyping John Kerry and assuring the nation that a change was coming. The people said so, the polls said so and the media danced wildly and said it would be.  But it didn't happen in 2004.

Now comes the candidacy of John McCain. The beltway inside outer if you will. The maverick and the man who has spent a career being on the outside looking in. Someone more comfortable with the term RINO than any supposed republican should be. But this is his chance at the  brass ring. It was almost as if it had been written in some scribed foretelling of futures to come. John McCain would be standard bearer of the GOP for 2008. And so it has become.

And now having died and been resurrected no less than once in the past twenty months, John McCain believes that it is time to roll the stone away from the sepulcher once again and view the once again risen candidacy of the curmudgeon of politique 2008. I am sorry, but somehow I just don't get all the arm waving and the repetitive assertions of fight the fight. Somehow, I have to believe that the opportunities have been missed and that regardless of what John McCain might like or wish to be, we have now come too far down the course for him to somehow miraculously come from behind to grasp the golden chalice.

I'm sorry John, but I just don't see it.
